How fast can a server be delivered?
Standard in-stock dedicated servers are usually provisioned within 2-6 hours. VPS, cloud, and hosted app orders are normally automated after payment confirmation, while custom hardware or manual review can take longer.
Can I choose the operating system?
Yes. Available images depend on the product: VPS and cloud servers show their supported templates, while dedicated servers can use Linux, BSD, Windows Server, rescue mode, or custom ISO workflows where supported.
Is remote management included?
Dedicated servers include out-of-band management where available. VPS and cloud services include control-panel workflows for power actions, reinstall, and service details.
Can Hosthink prepare multi-server deployments?
Yes. We can coordinate multi-server projects with consistent OS images, private VLANs, IP assignments, firewall rules, and a planned handoff window.
Can I request a custom hardware build?
Yes. Custom RAM, NVMe/SATA layouts, RAID, GPU, higher uplinks, and dual-CPU builds are available where inventory and supplier lead times allow.
Do you support custom ISO or rescue installs?
KVM VPS and dedicated servers can use rescue mode and custom ISO flows where the platform supports them. OpenVZ-style services use template-based Linux images.
Network
Do services include DDoS protection?
Most services include baseline network protection. Enhanced filtering or custom mitigation can be quoted for public apps, game servers, VPN endpoints, and higher-risk workloads.
Can I get additional IP addresses?
Additional IPs are subject to availability, justification, registry policy, and abuse history. They may carry a recurring monthly charge.
Do you support private networking?
Private VLANs, private networking, or cross-connect style designs are available on supported products and locations.
Can I announce my own IP space?
BGP sessions are available for eligible customers and routes, usually for /24 or larger IPv4 announcements or equivalent IPv6 allocations.
What port speeds are available?
Port speeds depend on product and location. VPS commonly starts at 1 Gbps, while dedicated and custom projects can support higher uplinks where available.
Can you help choose the best location?
Yes. Share your user geography, latency needs, compliance constraints, and traffic profile; we will recommend practical cities.
Billing
Are payments refundable?
No. Payments are final and non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise or Hosthink expressly agrees in writing.
Which billing cycles are available?
Most services are billed monthly. Longer terms or committed infrastructure projects can be arranged when the product and capacity allow it.
How are bandwidth overages billed?
Bandwidth above the included monthly quota may be billed at USD 0.03 per GB unless your order states a different rate.
Can invoices be issued in another currency?
Invoices follow the currency and payment method configured in the customer portal. Currency conversion may be applied by WHMCS, payment processors, or your bank.
When can a service be suspended?
Services may be suspended for unpaid invoices, failed verification, abuse, chargebacks, legal risk, or breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.
Can I cancel renewal?
Yes. Cancellation stops future renewal when completed before the renewal date, but it does not refund the current billing period.
Support
What is your support response time?
Support is best effort with a target first response within 24 hours. Outages, security incidents, billing blocks, and abuse cases may be triaged faster.
What does support cover?
Support covers Hosthink platform availability, provisioning, billing, network reachability, account access, and product features we directly operate.
Do you manage customer software?
Unmanaged servers do not include custom software administration. Managed app products include support for the hosted application layer described in the product.
How should I report abuse?
Send abuse reports to abuse@hosthink.net with IPs, URLs, timestamps, time zone, logs, and headers where available.
Can you help with migrations?
Migration help is available as a best-effort or quoted professional service depending on scope, source platform, and deadline.
Do you provide emergency phone support?
Standard support is handled through written channels so every request remains trackable. Enterprise arrangements can define additional escalation paths.
