Virtualization infrastructure

Run Proxmox on dedicated hardware you control

Build a clean virtualization host for VMs, containers, labs, private cloud nodes, and production services without sharing the underlying CPU, memory, or storage layer.

  • No noisy neighbors

The hypervisor runs on unshared server resources.

  • Flexible images

Select Proxmox VE in the deployment flow on supported dedicated configurations.

  • Global placement

Place nodes close to users, offices, backup targets, or regional services.

  • Network options

Review port speed, transfer, IP allocation, and location-specific upgrades before ordering.

Capacity model

Start with the resources your virtualization layer needs

Proxmox itself is straightforward. Capacity planning is where deployments succeed or fail. Choose hardware around VM density, storage resilience, backup traffic, and the failure domain you are willing to operate.

CPUPrioritize core count for VM density or higher clock speed for latency-sensitive guests.
MemoryUse enough RAM for every active guest plus host and filesystem overhead.
StorageChoose NVMe for VM latency; use mirrored or redundant layouts where workload recovery requires it.
AccessDedicated plans include remote management where available, with rescue and reinstall workflows.

Questions before deployment

Practical answers

Can Hosthink install Proxmox VE?

Yes. Proxmox VE is available in the dedicated-server operating-system flow on supported configurations. Review the selected server and image before deployment.

Which server size should I choose?

Size the host from the combined vCPU, RAM, storage IOPS, and transfer requirements of the guests you expect to run, then leave headroom for maintenance and bursts.

Is RAID required?

Not for every lab or disposable workload. Production hosts normally need a deliberate redundancy and backup plan; RAID protects availability but does not replace backups.

Can I build a Proxmox cluster?

Multi-node projects can be planned with consistent hardware, network, IP, and handoff requirements. Contact an engineer when quorum, private networking, or coordinated provisioning matters.

Is licensing included?

Proxmox VE can be installed without a paid subscription. Any commercial Proxmox subscription is separate unless explicitly included in a written order.
